Enclosed is a link to a copy of the recently completed performance audit, K-12 Education: Reviewing the Potential for Cost Savings from Reorganization of Kansas School Districts. The audit was presented to the Legislative Post Audit Committee at its February 8th meeting.
Appendix C of the report contains the auditors’ methodology and Appendix D shows the estimated changes in funding and resources by district under the report’s two reorganization scenarios.
