Healthy Bodies

September 2-12 the Kinder Prep class studied all about how to have a healthy body. We spent a day talking about healthy foods and working on the new food pyramid. We spent a day talking about germs and doing two germ experiments one of which we are still waiting for the germs (mold) to grow! We talked our body parts and that there are 206 bones in the body. The smallest bone is in the ear and the largest is in the leg. We had the opportunity to visit about all of the things our body needs to be healthy for example: healthy foods, water, exercise, sleep and lots of love. We were thrilled to have Jeremy Brandt PA-C conclude our unit He helped us review everything we had learned and allowed us to use stethoscopes to listen to our friends hearts. I hope you enjoy some of the snap shots that were taken during the unit.
