Let Children Cope with Boredom

Let children cope with boredom
Your child will have taken a large step toward maturity when she
learns to manage her free time. Encourage her to do this by:
**Limiting TV and other
electronics. Your child won't learn to entertain herself if she can
always fall back on these.
**Not rushing in to provide
activities. Instead, express confidence: "I know you can think
of something to do."
**Staying aware. Help her stay out of trouble by knowing what she's up to.
