Minutes
October 2, 2002
The meeting of the District Level Team was called to order on October 2, 2002 at 3:45 p.m. in the Central Office by John Showman.
Members attending: John Showman, Patty Lewis, Rex Mauck, Skip McMillen, Sherri Alverson, Sharmon Polson, Karen Morton, Shelly Hasenkamp, Janelle Glatczak, Bob Myers, Martin Dulohery, Tom Schroeder, and Sherri Wells
- Minutes of September 4, 2002 meeting
Sherri Alverson made the motion to approve the minutes of the September 4, 2002 meeting with the addition of Bob Myers attending.
- Discussion on up coming in-services.
John Showman made the motion to have Sherri Reid with Greenbush present all day on GACK and us it for both the inservice and QPA parts of the day. Karen will contact Greenbush and confirm.
Martin Dulohery seconded the motion. Motion carried.
The October 14 inservice Karen is checking on getting a video for Block Scheduling since they could not find a presenter. The elementary reported that they were ready and had teachers to teach the technology inservice on the 14th.
- Inservice Plan
Discussion on bonus point was held and it was decided when awarding inservice points collegues are considered people from both in district and out of district.
- Testing
Karen Morton made the motion to not give the ITBS test to first graders.
Janelle Glatczak seconded the motion. Motion carried 11-0.
- Next meeting
Next meeting will be November 6, 2002 at 3:45 p.m. in the Central Office. It was also decided to hold a district steering team meeting the first Wednesday of each month this year.
